Support Freedom Speech

Based on political studies, it is believed that the core of freedom of speech and democracy is not in coherence and is considered a protest. A lot of counter arguments arises and really democracy is never immersed with freedom of speech. So, if freedom of speech is not coinciding with democracy, then the greatest operating system for United States is at risk.

Democracy is implementing the execution of the liberty to speak your own opinion, freedom of speech at its best. However, this will also be a bad effect in the long run. You might be wondering why, and this is because of the fact that freedom of speech might be exercised for wrong acts.

Say for instance, consider the 2008 Presidential election in the United States, the contenders for the presidential position is using the essence of freedom of speech to battle and say things against themselves to get the hearts of the citizens and get to vote for them. This should not be done because they are merely abusing the essence of freedom of speech. This should not tolerate because of the fact that democracy has its own level of freedom and freedom of speech should not be applied because the tendency is that it will just be abused.

You have to open your eyes and mind so that it will be easier for you to comprehend what should and should not be practiced in democracy. You also have to remember that there’s a thin line between the freedom of speech and abusing it. It is not very imperative to always make freedom of speech your reason. Aside from watching your words, you have to be very responsible to whatever is coming out in your mouth especially those in the position or the one with greater influences in politics.

Democracy is the manner of saying what you really feel inside, but not saying what things that can ruin the reputation of a certain person. However, Freedom of speech is stating your opinion in general and not pertaining to the bad works or to personal activities of a certain individual.

Freedom of speech is a gift that any one in this world can have. However, you have to use it with utmost care. Meanwhile, there is still a chance that you can be able to keep democracy parallel with your freedom of speech. All you have to do is to be careful to what you will be saying.
